Illustration of medical procedure for print and digital showing the procedure of epidural anesthesia during pregnancy
Ugeskrift for Læger is the largest professional journal for doctors in Denmark, containing a variety of news, publications of new research etc. I was approached by researchers publishing an article about failed epidural anesthesia during pregnancy who needed an illustration of a womb with the unborn fetus, as well as the correct administration of an epidural block in the epidural space, due to my previous experience in studying Medical Anatomy at Aarhus University.
The style of the illustration needed to be clean, with enough detail to correctly show the anatomical structures.
The work was done in formats suitable for digital and print.
